TOP STORY
Briefly: The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) has called for ‘botanical cannabis' to be reclassified under federal law, per AP reports.
What Happened: The DEA's decision to move cannabis from Schedule I to Schedule III under the Controlled Substances Act comes eight months after the HHS requested the agency make changes to cannabis’ onerous classification, which put it in a category with heroin and meth.
Back Up: Cannabis has remained classified as a Schedule I controlled substance since 1970.
What Else: Schedule III substances have received explicit market approval by the FDA; they are only legal to possess when obtained in licensed pharmacies under a physician's prescription.
What Next: The DEA's rescheduling decision does not take immediate effect. The agency must first accept public comments, during which time interested parties can formally request administrative hearings to further debate the issue.

Looking younger was once thought to be a luxury that only women who had access to plastic surgery and costly professional treatments could enjoy. So while the rich and famous stayed ‘ageless’ — the rest of us just learned to accept our lines, wrinkles, and sagging skin as an inevitable part of life.
A Game-Changing Discovery is finally leveling the playing field, as more women learn to fight back against their body’s “aging switch.” You read that right. According to experts, not only is it possible to slow down the appearance of aging — but most women can easily do it themselves. That’s why the latest anti-aging trend isn’t plastic surgery or expensive creams, but a simple daily ritual that takes less than a minute to perform. (In fact, if you’ve noticed one of your friends looking suspiciously more youthful and rejuvenated in recent months — there’s a good chance they’re already doing it at home.)
However, if you’re interested in looking significantly younger without the cost and hassle of seeing a professional, this science-backed “shortcut” is certainly worth trying at home. Watch the video below to see how it's done

Briefly: Congressman Earl Blumenauer (D-OR), co-chair of the Congressional Cannabis Caucus, has long advocated for reforming cannabis laws.
So Basically: Reacting to the DEA's announcement, Blumenauer expressed optimism about the direction of U.S. drug policy.
Quoted: "If today’s reporting proves true, we will be one step closer to ending the failed war on drugs," Blumenauer stated.
So What? Blumenauer suggested this could mark a tipping point for the national sentiment toward cannabis, arguing that "the American people have made clear in state after state that cannabis legalization is inevitable."
