ONE FOR THE ROAD

Briefly: SciSparc is testing its CBD drug for the treatment of children with ASD and has enrolled its first patient.

So Basically: The Israel-based companies said it will enroll 60 participants between the ages of 5 and 18, for 20 weeks.

So Then: The goal of the trial, which is designed in consultation with the National Autism Research Center, is to examine how SCI-210 therapy compares to standard CBD treatment in managing symptoms of ASD.

So What? "The enrollment of our first patient means that we are moving towards a new frontier in the treatment of ASD," said Oz Adler, the company's CEO.
