TOP STORY
Briefly: Last Tuesday, the DEA reportedly agreed to reschedule cannabis, sending stocks sky-high. But the cannabis’s trajectory is still less “rocket ship” and more “rollercoaster.”
So Basically: News broke this week that administrator Anne Milgram, “did not sign the rescheduling order,” according to two confidential sources inside the DEA.
So Then: The cannabis stocks went over the loop and down the drop.
So What? The DEA Administrator spoke for herself, saying, “Because the formal rulemaking process is ongoing — and my role in that process is to determine the scheduling of drugs — it would be inappropriate for me to respond to questions on this rescheduling matter."
What Next: Keep your seatbelts on and hang on to your hats. The ride’s not over yet.

ONE MORE FOR THE ROAD
Briefly: Famed boxer Mike Tyson and soccer legend Diego Maradona share an unlikely friendship — and lifestyle.
How It Started: Their paths crossed on several occasions. In 2005, during Maradona's TV show La Noche del 10, Tyson received an Argentine national team jersey signed by Maradona himself, who was excited to have the "baddest man on the planet" on his show.
What Happened Next: Tyson valued this jersey so much that he wore it during his appearance in a Brazilian court. The controversy, of course, was immediate, given the soccer rivalry between Argentina and Brazil.
What Now: “We were soul brothers. We just loved each other from the first time we met," said Tyson during an exclusive interview at the recent Benzinga Cannabis Capital Conference. Only one question remains: did they ever share a joint?
